Important Notice: Beware of Recruitment Scams

Unfortunately, it has come to our attention that fraudulent recruitment messages bearing the name of Huhtamaki are circulating across various platforms. The scammers are posting fraudulent job offers for a career opportunity at Huhtamaki Oyj and its group companies across the globe by misusing the brand of ‘Huhtamaki’ and names of our employees. We are also aware of scammers impersonating a recruitment agency and pretending to recruit on Huhtamaki’s behalf. These scammers may even conduct an interview to try and solicit personal information or money from prospective applicants.

 

How to verify a genuine Huhtamaki recruitment process

  • Huhtamaki follows a transparent recruitment process managed exclusively by our HR department or authorised organisation recruiting on our behalf
  • All job openings will be available on the Huhtamaki career website and reputable job search sites such as ‘LinkedIn’ and ‘Naukri’ specifically for India
  • All interview invitations and any offers of employment sent via email, will be from a Huhtamaki Domain email address. This includes accounts ending in @Huhtamaki.com or our recruitment system as huhtamaki@myworkday.com

Huhtamaki will never:

  • Request money from applicants either to directly to us, any government agency or third party (e.g. for ‘visa fees, embassy fees’, security deposits, taxes, a percentage of travel expenses)
  • Request personal information such as passport and bank account details at an early stage of the process
  • Use email domains such as Gmail, Yahoo Mail, fin-Huhtamaki or careers-fin
  • Issue offers of employment in international locations on non-local conditions

 

If you suspect a recruitment fraud – what should you do?

  • Huhtamaki respects your right and will support you in requesting verification of authenticity of an interview or offer at any point during the recruiting process.
  • If you have concerns regarding the legitimacy of an email, letter or web site - or any other information relating to Huhtamaki, please email us including your contact information so we may communicate with you directly if necessary.
