Meet Manuel Engstler, Manager Lacquer Production

Manuel has been part of the Flexible Packaging family in Ronsberg, Germany for more than 16 years. He leads a team of talented professionals who work with an innovative and sustainable solvent recovery system that processes and re-uses solvents to the highest quality, reducing the amount of new solvents needed while protecting the environment from exhaust fumes. 

In his own words, Manuel sees that the daily work carried out by him and the team contributes towards Huhtamaki’s sustainability targets, always with the safety and well-being of the team in mind: 

“With our daily work to keep solvent recovery up and running, we can guarantee that the solvents used in the production are returned to the cycle. This is an essential element of our sustainability agenda to protect the environment,” he shares.
